Buhhhhbahhhhh!!

Well, so it has begun.  It’s been a big week.  Mina has really started to say words.  Her favorites are of course animal sounds:

Baa baa

Hssss

*insert elephant trumpet* (my favorite)

Ahh ahh (Monkey)

Ommomomomom (Cookie Monster)

But she also says “baby” “byebye” and “ni ni”.  And “uh oh”.  LOTS of uh oh.  If we thought we had to be careful what we said before, doubly so now!  Needless to say, she is quite pleased with herself.  Oh.. and she says “robot” (which comes out like “bo-butt” and she can say “ball.”  I know, I know, you three readers who aren’t grandparents really needed the whole list.  Whatever, too bad.)

We’ve got some video, but Mark need to do some voodoo that he do to it and then you’ll get it.  Don’t pester me, pester him.

Oh, and to whatever numbskull invented those wooden puzzles with the light sensor on them, I hope your easter eggs are all rotten this year.  Every now and then, the light in the room changes just enough that it goes off seemingly unprompted and gives me a freakin’ heart attack.  So yeah, suck it.
