That’s about how far she’s getting these days. She’ll take a few hurried steps and then dive for cover. Yesterday she almost dove into the coffee table. She did dive for the entertainment center last night before I had to leave for class. Fortunately, she’s got that thick Sweeney skull under there.

We’re very close. She’s getting to that point where she’s a danger to herself. She is so excited to stagger to places without crawling that she’s getting faster and more cranium-forward.

Lesser moms would buy a play helmet. (Sorry to any friends who actually did buy a play helmet for their toddlers.)
