Impending changes

Well, with the first birthday looming, we’ve got all kinds of changes coming up. Not the least of which is weaning. Yes. I’m settin’ em free! We’ve got a trip to Austin the weekend after her birthday party, so I’m going to wait til we get back to make any real changes. However, I thought it would be about time to see if she can handle cow’s milk.

For those of you playing along at home, you’re probably thinking “uhhhh, isn’t she lactose intolerant?” Yes, yes she is. So she got a little lactaid this morning. The milk, not the tablet/enzyme. That’ll come later. She seemed to like it! I guess we’ll have to wait a few hours and see if it liked her!

Pretty soon she’ll be able to have honey, too. Not that we have plans to start giving her spoonfuls of honey.

And we get to face her carseat forward! Too much, too soon, coach!
